This Territory Sales Representative role is dedicated to developing business in NYC and Long Island for CCSI. Our Territory Sales Representatives are responsible for building client relationships from the ground-up through outside sales activities such as cold calling, prospecting, territory planning, working with inside sales and relationship building. This role will require individuals to qualify opportunities, develop, and close business for CCSI.


Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this position is to provide pre-sales consultative and design assistance to our customers, partners and prospects. The Sales Engineer works closely with sales personnel in developing both strategic and tactical plans to achieve success. The Sales Engineer will balance the degree of systems integration involvement based on risk to business, value to customer, potential future business and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

Drive the technical conversations and become the trusted advisor with customers/prospects by providing pro active answers to technical questions & documentation

Interfaces with marketing group regarding solution launch & programs

Participates in end user presentations, trade shows, etc.

Conduct customer site surveys in order to develop the best solution to fit the application, including supporting the sales team with creating estimates and BOMs (bill of materials)

Network and consult with manufacturers, A&Es and consultants

Identify and develop new business opportunities using network and working with sales reps. Establish a broad client and prospect base to promote all CCSI Technology products and services.

Work with business development, and other personnel to contact, qualify and pursue leads for new business opportunities.

Work with proposal groups to provide direction and strategy for responding to client requests for proposals. Coordinate internal efforts to provide a cohesive team approach.

Build long-term advisory relationships with multiple clients.

Generate necessary reports and complete administrative duties in a timely fashion.

Keep informed on industry trends, products and training & certifications as required by the business.

Provide technical support in sales presentations and Conduct technical/positioning presentations to customers & prospects

Understands & analyzes customers/prospects needs according to their business requirements

Assist the sales force with value added consultation services

Acts as technical prime for responding/review to RFx’s

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

The applicant should have strong  switching, routing / networking  with 1-3 years of cyber security engineering experience supporting business development/sales in pursuit of opportunities in both enterprise and SLED verticals. Contemporary Computer Services Inc (CCSI) is an MSSP leader in the cyber security space and is looking for high-energy self-motivated pre-sales engineers supporting our sales teams. This position is based on Long Island in our Bohemia HQ.

It’s a senior position aligned with our Sales Directors to lead a consistent, structured technical sales cycle.

Qualified candidates must have a strong background in the cybersecurity space ie: network, data center, cloud, endpoint and mobility. Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, SOC services is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities

The Pre-Sales Solution Engineer (SE) supports sales team and deal flow by securing the “technical win”. The SE collaborates with sales, services, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Work as an integral part of the sales team
  • Own technical portion of the sale & identify additional opportunities where applicable
  • Present & clearly articulate the value of CCSI, while maintaining in-depth knowledge of competition
  • Establish yourself as a technical evangelist and an advisor early in the sales cycle

  • Experience with Incident Response / Remediation and Forensics / SOC
  • Certification in Security & Penetration Testing is a big plus
  • Understanding of Security information and event management (SIEM) Solutions

CCSI currently has an Account Manager opportunity supporting the SLED (State, Local, and Education) team in Long Island and New York City. Our State, Local, and Education (SLED) team is experiencing fast growth and expanding year over year!

This role will achieve goals by selling CCSI’s core capabilities: Infrastructure Modernization, Cloud Architecture, Security, and Digital Transformation through our suite of products, which include multiple OEM’s: Cisco, Dell EMC, HP, VMware, etc. This role will also work to expand CCSI’s footprint of services capabilities including deployment services, NOC/SOC, break/fix, and post deployment strategic staffing.

Responsibilities:

• Selling IT solutions (Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud Architecture, Security, and Digital Transformation), Managed & Professional Services to State, Local and Education customers.

• Professional networking to build relationships with executive and decision making managers at targeted clients within SLED market.

CCSI is searching for to contract a Project Manager to assist and oversee a Disaster Recovery Data Center migration.

The Project Manager should have information technology (IT) experience in managing data center migrations, Disaster Recovery site transitions, and operations. This experience should have been in supervising large IT services contracts, including the implementation on distributed systems, server (WIN2xxx OS) platforms and telecommunications.

The project manager will provide direct communications with and recommendations to the Infrastructure team. Coordinates project activities, plan, and schedules per task order. Maintains the project schedule and ensures that deliverables are completed in a timely manner. Provides resource planning, manages project cost control and cost projections. Ensures resources are assigned to support task and tasks are completed on time. Ensures problem resolution and customer satisfaction for task orders. Provides status and feedback, including preparing presentations and attending meetings as a participant or the host.

Duties:

Project coordination activities with Infrastructure Team and Data Center Solution Architect

  • Send out communications as per the Communication Plan
  • Schedule Migration meetings as per the Communication Plan
  • Submit Change Requests as appropriate following the Change Request Process for each application migration activity
  • Verify application and server inventory for activities. Working with Migration Technical Lead as appropriate for assistance.
  • Coordinate and lead testing of the critical applications after migration
  • Coordinate and lead testing activities for the telecommunications network
  • Coordination and communication among other infrastructure team PM’s as required

We proactively monitor and analyze systems and networks for functionality, performance and security. A technician with strong problem-solving skills is desired. Responsibilities

– Respond to network and system faults reported by our monitoring platform

– Troubleshoot fault conditions and perform corrective actions

– Respond to customer inquiries and problems

– Communicate with parties regarding received faults, diagnosis and suggested remediation

– Manage incident tickets by following work-flow, performing notifications and documenting procedure results.
